this is the only new years goal that I am keeping.... it has been two weeks since the last time I wrote anything. and let me tell you that I am glad this is private and I have to invite people to read this... because I have to let loose....
Last weekend 2/15 - 2/17 --- was exhausting.
2/15- I had to wait from 8AM until 5PM for the washing repair man to arrive. Did they call that morning to say we will be in town at 10 NO!!! nothing! The man showed up at 3PM! Hello, I could have done some running around! The washer was fixed and now does not make any sound. so YEAH!!! but please call!!!! Then we were going to go out for dinner but could not agree on where to go so we ended up at the new Arby's. But what a stressor.
2/16 - Patrick was manhandled at his basketball game and nothing was done about it. At one point the kid hit him so hard he cried. The best part of the day was that we went north to visit Grandma Terlizzi. The kids had fun and we went out to dinner and they were good kids! Spent the night at my parents.
Gonna run....

Update on the going on in Marion
Well lets see what is going on....
2/2 - we went to see Patrick play basketball and he was really good. He was the offensive star of the game! He was 4 for 6. He had so much fun. We have to teach him that the guys in basketball do not celebrate after every basket but then again he is only 6. We then went to the Tin Duck for lunch = not so good. Colleen melted down and Patrick nearly got hit by a car.
2/3 - went to church - miss Colleen needs a bigger bladder. She went twice at church. We then went down to CostCo and the kiddos were in rare form. We did OK on the spending only $150. Bought the infrared garbage can - hopefully this one lasts. I better send in the warranty. We then ate lunch at CPK. Then we went to the shoe sale at Scioto Shoe mart in town. Only Colleen & Patrick bought shoes. It was too much for Mr. Daniel.
2/4 - back to work and school. I had a school board meeting which was OK.
Well I better run....

End of the month
This weekend we went to Cleveland to celebrate my dad's birthday! He turned 65. We went up on Saturday and spent the whole day there. The kids were made that we did not spend the night but we had to go to church the next morning and Daniel had a birthday party at the Y.
I got my hair cut at Bella Capelli and I think after my hair color it may be my last time. I am not happy that she cuts my hair without listening to me but that is what you get for going to the same person for 8 years. We shall see.

Preschool/Daycare and other stuff
Well this week has been a whirlwind.
Jan 16 - Tony had the interview all morning (Still haven't heard anything)
Jan 17 - Patrick had basketball practice and the whole family went (sans Tony). The younger two got bored but that was expected. Patrick did fine. He did get hit with the ball in the face but I told him to rub a little dirt on it and he would be fine.
Jan 18 - my parents came down to spend the weekend. The kids did not have school so they stayed home with Tony during the day and I worked.
Jan 19 - Tony & I went to 'Protecting God's Children' I was good! I am glad I went. It made me a little more paranoid but what is new. Then we went to Der Dutchman w/o the kids. Patrick had his first basketball game. My parents took him. His team lost but Patrick had fun and played quiet a bit. Booked Disney trip. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge! starting December 27. Ron and his gang spent the night! The kids seemed to have fun. My kids slept in the attic and Elizabeth & Anthony slept with their dad in Daniel's bed.
Jan 20 - Tony, the kids, Ron, & Dad went to the OSU Women's basketball game. Mom & I went shopping!

Jan 21 & 22 - Colleen & Patrick had dental appointments and I did not work. The kids had off on Monday and it was so cold we just hung around the house
Jan 23 - Colleen started Preschool/Daycare at Epworth. She was so excited about it all weekend. But when it came time to go she did not want to go. But she went and had a good time. Only downside was that she did not eat the lunch that they provided - but I knew that would happen going into this situation.

Ten days since last post and stuf that has happened
Well since the last post - 10 days ago - some things have happened.
- OSU lost in the national championship game again
- our car needed $900 worth of work. My parents in their generosity paid for most of it! I love them so much for that one
- our 8th wedding anniversary. Tony bought me the sweetest card and some flowers. I on the other hand got him nothing to date. I am working on a scrapbook for the two of us.
- Colleen visited her new daycare/preschool setting. She did not want to at first but she did enjoy it and talks about her 'school' all the time.
- we went to the zoo to learn about pachyderms. We went with Uncle Paul & Aunt Suzy. Then they stayed with us and watched the kids while Tony & I went out to dinner with his work group. The dinner was nice - we were late and got to sit with the Plant Manager.
- Tony is supposed to have a job interview on the 16th in Cincinnati for an operations manager position. He is not sure about going. I want him to see what is out there but it is up to him.
- Had a meeting with Daniel's teacher about his reluctance to go to school in the morning. They have not seen anything except that he rushes to the bathroom in the AM.
- Working on consolidating our debt so we can have a plan to pay it off.
- Working on our Disney trip in December
- NOT working on my goals list - need to write these down so I see them all the time and try to be more specific

Walked and walked and walked
On Saturday, I went walking today with Kerrianne Smith. I met her three plus years ago when I trained for the Disney Half Marathon. I went to walk about 3 miles and ended up doing nearly 5! and I am aching right now and will be into the near future.
The rest of the day I just lounged around with the kiddos. Tony went for his run. We then went out to dinner at The Warehouse - our old favorite in town. Well they changed the menu and it has not been the same since. I still love their pizza but that is about it that I like there.
On Sunday, we got up at 8:30 and were out the door by 9:15 for church!! YEAH US - normally if this happens we don't end up at church. We then went to Tim Horton's for breakfast. My parents came down for the day so they could take our car to get fixed. It needs new tires.
I am going to start a food journal tomorrow now I have to find one online or buy one.
