Patrick will be celebrating his first communion tomorrow at 2 PM. I am very excited that he is becoming more involved within the Catholic Church. I pray that this new relationship with God will help his attitude towards Mass - looking at it as a blessing not a chore.
The part that I am dreading is the party afterward -- getting the house ready is such a chore -- getting the food together is so expensive --- dealing with family is dealing with family! :)
