It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So here are mine.. follow the link above to record yours!
- Went to Fort Worth and back this weekend for a training workshop. The workshop was great! However, I think it took me this trip to realize that this may not be for me. And to me that was a success.
- Stuck to my guns regarding a bad grade. The child in question tried to blame everyone but themselves. I told this child that we make choices every day and if they choose not to study as long as they need to then the outcome is all theirs. I believe it is my job as a parent to assist in the homework process not to do the homework. If they choose to not study when I repeatedly ask if they have then the grade they get is the grade they get.
- Have been going to be early (for me) this past week. It does make a difference.

Good week....especially with holding a child accountable for their choices. Its one of the hardest parts of parenthood. Good for you.
Great week! I have been getting up early myself for the last few weeks to just be still and pray. It's great at 5 a.m. not so great at 9 p.m.
What a wonderful week! If more parents would hold their children accountable we'd live in a much happier and safer society. Kudos Mom! That's no easy task!
Great job in handling #2! Many parents need to be more active in their children's education like you have.
Going to bed early is definitely a success! If you're anything like me, I say I'm going to bed then find about 10 more things I need to do first!
