Today there was a tiny hicup I got to laze with my baby girl today. The little one, Miss Colleen, has had a sty in her left eye all week. It is ugly - her eye is black and blue. Looks like she got into a brawl. Well this AM the sty broke and there was blood. So I let her stay home just in case it started to bleed at school.
So she and I lazed around. We started the day at Starbucks... me with a carmel machiato and her with a kids coffee (AKA hot chocolate) and we split a cinnamon roll (isn't that what girlfriends do :) )
We then came home and watched so PBS Kids, played on the Wii and the PC. We had fun. We ended the afternoon resting on the sofa watching Miss Spider before we had to leave to pick up the boys.
