Today it is a gray and cold day. I really want spring weather. My bulbs are starting to emerge from the ground. I can't wait for the scent of hyacinth's blooming.
Lent is just around the corner and it happens to start on Miss C's birthday. We will still have cake and ice cream for her but outside of that we will begin our Lenten sacrifices and growth opportunities.
My personal sacrifices are - 1) giving up Facebook; 2) limiting time on the PC (not counting work) and 3) not over snacking.
My growth opportunities are 1) spiritually - follow my black book meditations daily; pray the Rosary with the family; and confession and 2) health - exercise on non-gym days
