Small Successes - March 3

FaithButton

It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So here are mine..
  1. We finished up the boys basketball season!  what a season that was the off court activity was ridiculous but it is now done and the boys had fun so isn't that all what matters.
  2. Sent out Miss C's 7th birthday invites via Smilebox this year so they would be out in time for her party.  She helped design the invite.  You can see it in an earlier post. edit - had to remove it since it had our address and phone number on it but it was very cute and played Big Night by Big Time Rush (her favorite band at this moment)
  3. Have decided our Lenten family activity.  The Columbus Diocese has a Rosary patch for both boy and girl scouts.  So we are going to work on that as a family as well as learning about the Stations of the Cross (not sure if they are really learning about these at their parish school).
What are yours....follow the link here to record yours!

Sounds like a productive week. We're going with "No TV Tuesdays" as our family activity for Lent. Our boys are too little for much more...But I love the idea of studying the Stations during Lent!

I haven't heard about the Rosary patch. Is it only through The Columbus Diocese scout troops? We're in the diocese, but The Archangel's Cub Scout troop is at a local Methodist church.
